Andrew Martin Scott is the co-owner of Needles & Pens, a Mission District shop with a wide selection of zines and DIY goods that also functions as an art gallery. It's a place where crafty folks can display and sell their homespun wares, zines, and art. If you ever need a special little gift for someone, you should definitely hit it up! Andrew is pretty hands-on at the shop – he not only curates all the merchandise (including the zines), but he also makes awesome playlists for the shop. His musical tastes are eclectic, and though he grew up skateboarding and listening to punk almost exclusively, these days he's digging kraut rock, old country, garage rock, old jazz... and the list goes on and on. Both the wares and the tunes at Needles & Pens reveal his affinity for things crafted with hands and heart.
Here is Andrew's rockin' mix, called "Some Kind Of Juke Joint."
1. Angela Jones – Michael Cox
2. Don't Wake Up The Kids – Eddie Cochran
3. White Lightnin' – George Jones
4. Don't Let It Go – Bo Diddley
