The New (Monthly) Taste Marketplace

I had the best Thai curry of my life in a church. Specifically it was the green Thai curry made by the folks behind Nute's Cupcakes that had me over the moon this weekend. Not that the Bacon Crack from Nosh This or the skewers from Sataysfied didn't leave me more than satisfied. It was the green Thai curry that had me singing holy, holy.

This is all probably a little bit confusing – unless you made it out to St. Gregory's Church in Potrero Hill for New Taste Marketplace. They host a food market every month with increasingly more fun vendors participating each time. The sliding scale entrance fee of $0-10 goes towards The Food Pantry and the church.

There were tons of yummy vendors there. Next time I plan to pick up some homemade butter from Churn and the meyer lemon marmalade jam from Aunt Kittie's Creations.

The Urban Chef busted out with Bacon Mac-n-Cheese and Chocolate Pop Rock Bars! I mean, come on. It doesn't get much better than pop rocks bursting in your chocolate-stuffed mouth.

Keep an eye on the New Taste Marketplace website for the date of their April market. I know I'll be back for sure.
