CCA MFA Exhibition
Last night, I stopped by California College of the Arts (my school!) to check out the opening of the MFA Thesis Exhibition . The place was packed with a combination of art school kids, designer types, and parents looking confused and thinking to themselves, "This is what we paid for?"
As confusing as abstract visual art can be for unknowing family members and even designers like myself, the atmosphere was full of graduation excitement, boosted by free wine and food. I ran into many friends, teachers, and even a few Bold Italic designers. Here are some of my favorite pieces from the show.
If you like what you see, check out the show yourself. It runs through May 21.
I also took a stroll through the "Baccalaureate Exhibition," which runs through May 17th.
