The Bold Italic About Us
Get dizzy with The Bold Italic at a decadent cocktail party from the 1930s, while we celebrate the opening of the World's Fair. We'll have a raucous good time while the gin and absinthe flow, photographers roam, the piano keys are plunked and we drink to the erection of our very own new landmarks of wonder and intrigue. You'll enjoy free cocktails and food by St. George Spirits, Distillery No. 209, Aidells, Cheese Plus and Pacific Puffs, as well as the chance to get paparazzied by Chosen by Destiny and inside the Magbooth. Door Prizes! Tog to the bricks, because the ladies and gents who win best dressed will get gift certificates to Decades of Fashion and tickets to Long Now's Rick Prelinger Lost Landscapes screening. Attire: Cocktail 1930's inspired. 8 – 10 p.m., Party
10 p.m. onwards, No-Host Bar Le Club, 1250 Jones Street (at Clay), San Francisco Parking: Street parking or $12 valet for the full evening. This event is 21+.
