"The Art of Tea" at Taste

People sometimes call Hayes Valley "Zen Valley" for its proximity to the Zen Center, but there are many pockets of serenity to be found in the 'hood. One of our favorites is Taste, a beautiful, design-conscious tea house where a young husband and wife team are teaching the art of ancient Chinese tea, sip by sip and cup by cup.
Come meet Vincent and Rebecca for a calm and rejuvenating tea session, where you will learn about the art of traditional Chinese Gong-Fu Cha – a practice has that clears the mind, lifts the spirits, and supports a healthy lifestyle.
You'll get to sample various teas, as well as pairings with seasonal fruits, steamed buns, their housemade macarons, and scones. You'll even walk out the door with a tea sample so you can take the calm with you.
